[PC News] Gigabyte Mini-ITX LGA1155

Hi,today Gigabyte show new Mini-ITX LGA1155 motherboard with dual HDMI output.

Gigabyte sneaked in its latest motherboard for SFF (small form-factor) fans, the GA-H67N-USB3-B3. This mini-ITX motherboard supports socket LGA1155 Intel Core processors, and is based on the Intel H67 chipset (B3 revision). The board supports every LGA1155 Core processor released till date, its designers didn't have to worry much about its electricals since you're not going to overclock on H67. Yet, the board packs a 4+2 phase VRM for the CPU, that's compliant with Intel's VRD 12 specification. The socket is wired to two DDR3 DIMM slots for dual-channel memory support, and a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot. - TechPowerUp

Natus Vincere won Intel Extreme Masters V!

Natus Vincere (lat. born for victory :)) defeated in the final duel Frag eXecutors. The Ukrainian machine led by Zeus (others: markeloff, Edward, Starix, Esenin) faced with Neo and partnership( TaZ, kuben, pasha, Loord) on de_train and de_dust 2. They won both maps, They won both maps, although the match was very tough. The second time they reached for the cup winners of Intel Extreme Masters.

Review of match (sk-gaming.com):

de_train (Fx 11-Na'Vi 4, 1-12)

The game got underway with the Poles defending the bomb sites of de_train following their knife round win. A heavy advantage on the Counter-Terrorist side allowed them to take a respectable 11 rounds, but Na'Vi were definitely happy with four rounds on the Terrorist side.

On the change over, Na'Vi quickly secured the pistol and the next two rounds. They then managed to string multiple rounds together, thanks to strong holds from both AWPers markeloff and starix. Throughout the half, the side only slipped up once, which allowed them to win the half 12-1 and the game 16-12.

[My comment] It was a two-AWP map. This weapon gave a huge advantage. When Filip "Neo" Kubski and Jakub "kuben" GurczyƄski has the sniper rifle, entrance to the bomb-site resembled a massacre of the innocents (Na'Vi's innocents). It was the same, when Na'Vi was on CT , 1 or 2 Frag-eXecutors players could only watch as other colleagues are killed (Na'Vi usually killed 1-2 players per round with AWP).

de_dust 2 (9-6, 1-)

Taking down four of their opposition, FX thought they had the first pistol round of dust2 in the bag. However, Natus Vincere's Starix managed to clutch a 2v1 situation to win the pistol round for NaVi. The following round saw FX catch Na'Vi offguard, buying AK's to win the second round and even up the game. From that point rounds exchanged, more in the favour of FX, allowing them to take the half 9-6.

The second saw Na'Vi do a strong push on short A, only losing one man in the process, they took over A and eventually won the round. After two eco rounds from FX, they looked like they would pull a round back, but ceh9 managed to hold A with the bomb down, pulling of a 2v1 clutch. Four more rounds followed after that, until FX called a timeout, which lead to them taking their first round of the CT half. Then Na'Vi got back up after losing a round to win the following round and the next round, which won them the game 16-10, and the match 2-0.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The victory was well deserved for Na'Vi because they played better, both tactically and skillfully. Na`Vi in-game leader, Danyl "Zeus" Teslenko, was the top-fragger.

Natus Vincere... lost to win in IEM. The ESL has announced that Natus Vincere will have their IEM5 World Championship earnings reduced by 13 percent. The reason for the imposition of penalties are two offenses during a match with mortal Team work. The first offense was leaving the stage without permission at halftime of the second map and the second was extra timeout to go to the toilet (:D).

The third place coincided with mTw, which defeated SK-gaming 2:1 (de_inferno 16:6 for SK, de_nuke 8:16 and on de_train 24:26 for mTw).

Final Standings
1st. Natus Vincere - $30,450 (-$4,550 due to 13% deduction)
2nd. Frag eXecutors - $17,000

[IEM- Quake Live] SK-gaming defeated mousesport :)

The History likes repeat itself. SK's Shane "rapha" Hendrixson (USA) won the gold medal at the Intel Extreme Masters # 5 in Quake Live. In the finals he defeated Mousesport representative , Anton 'Cooller "Singov (Russia) 3:0. (One year ago this same players faced with each other- the score was 3:1 for rapha :D)

"Going into the final, both players appeared to be in on top of their game, more so with Anton 'Cooller' Singov who's game play and aim seemed to be at its peak. Prior to the final, Anton had stated he believes its his time and he has a few secrets to show Shane." (sk-gaming.com)

During the final was different. rapha took full control of the game. He won all 3 maps (Furious Heights, Dismemberment and Vertical Vengeance). The win has earned Rapha a tidy sum of $8,500 and his name engraved for the second time in a row on the QL trophy.

The fight for 3rd place was a "fratricidal" clash. Strenx (fnatic) fought against Spart1e( fnatic trolololol) . Strenx won on Furious Heights 3:1, Hektik 15:15, OT1 5:3 and on Lost World 9:1.

Here you have a description of the duel (by fnatic.com):

The first map to be played was Furious Heights, a map often played (and won) by strenx during this tournament and not so much by Spart1e. The tempo kicked off slowly and saw the Frenchmen making the opening frag and later on keeping a 2-1 lead. Although the match was quite balanced, Siira could not even up and eventually got denied by strenx, who took the decisive third frag.

Much unlike the first map, the tempo skyrocketed directly at the start of the second map, Hektik. This map was added to the map pool quite recently and has received quite some criticism, but the FnaticMSI players showed exactly why this map has been chosen. The first half was without a doubt on Spart1e his side, making the opening frag and quickly making it a 11-1 lead, much to despite of strenx, who after the match said he “wanted to switch to spectator mode because he was getting bullied completely”. The second half this completely turned around, with strenx taking over control, who rapidly moved on to equalize. Just 15 seconds before the end of the regular time he finally did so.

Right at this moment strenx thought he made an end to the second map, making a spawn kill, but to the surprise of all the spectators at CEBIT Spart1e his rocket kill equalized again and forced an overtime. In this overtime both players went all-in and both picked up several kills, but it was strenx continuing his dominance, winning Hektik 20-18.

Just like his match against rapha yesterday, Spart1e played two close maps, but did not take this in to the third map again. At Lost World the Swede had to let his teammate take control and the first three frags. This was later on enlarged to a 5-0 score and it took until the last 90 seconds for Spart1e to retake item control and try to work his way back in to the match. Unfortunately for him this was too late and as he tried to chase strenx, the score only became bigger and ended at 9-1 in favor of strenx.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Final Standings:
1st. Rapha - $8,500
2nd. Cooller - $4,000
3rd. Strenx - $2,500
4th. Spart1e - $1,400
5/6. DaHanG - $600
5/6. av3k - $600
7/8. Fazz - $400
7/8. Cypher - $400
11/12. czm - $400
11/12. Vo0 - $400

[PC News] Intel show Thunderbolt Technology

Today Intel show  Thunderbolt Technology. What is it ? This is the fastes connection to PC !! How fast ? 10 Gb/s !!

The vision for Thunderbolt technology (formerly codenamed "Light Peak") is to move media faster, simplify connections between devices, and foster new and exciting ways to build and use PCs. Combining high-speed data and HD video connections together onto a single cable is instrumental to achieving that vision. Thunderbolt technology delivers this via two communications methods, or protocols -- PCI Express for data transfer and DisplayPort for displays.   - TechPowerUp
