Russia's top team, Moscow Five(ROMJkE, ed1k, xek, Dosia, Fox) , have once more shown themselves to be the best in the region as they won ASUS Winter 2011 and ~$5,200 in prize money at the Kiev-based event. They defeated Iron Will 16-11 on de_train and 16-4 on de_tuscan.

"On de_train Iron Will looked like they had a lot fight back in them against Moscow Five, but in the end they just came a little short of making the match really exciting, despite producing some good rounds. On de_tuscan it was just Moscow Five on a different level, 11-4 as Terrorists and 5-0 on the CT side, meant 2-0 for Moscow Five and second place for Iron Will."- HLTV.org

But who is the Moscow Five?

This team came into existence recently, in February 2011. German organization- Meet Your Makers quarreled with his russian CS division. This resulted in the departure of ROMJkE, ed1k, xek, Dosia, Fox from this organization. As it turned out, the Russians are moving away from the organization knew what they were doing. Along with their manager They guaranteed the support and formed the team, which soon is to become a world power of eSports- Moscow Five.

Earlier, in MYM they won ASUS Autumn 2010 and by the very good performance on the IEM (Intel Extreme Masters) V EC they gained a promotion to the global finals. They're in a group with CompLexity, Frag eXecutors, UMX-Gaming ,mTw and TCM Gaming. And what do you think about Moscow Five??

WCG 2011 without Blizzard games??

Probably yes. The main sponsor- Samsung Electronics has reservations to the participation one of the most popular multiplayer RTS (Starcraft: Brood War, Warcraft III: Frozen Throne and Starcarft II: Wings of Liberty). Why? The Korean tech giant, which is also a KeSPA (Korean e-sport Players Association) member and owner of the pro-BW team Samsung Khan is in constant conflict with Blizzard. Futhermore, OnGameNet, the WCG broadcaster in Korea, is currently involved in a lawsuit with Blizzard concerning intelectual property rights. This could mean that as a result, even if the game will be officially introduced, we can not see any live broadcasts. One of the solution these problems is , that Korean players are not to compete in those games , that is, as usual, players will be most affected. Given the place of tournament play (Pusan, South Korea) and the huge number of fans of those few platforms would be certainly a huge blow also to the organizers of the competition.

We haven't any official statement by the World Cyber Games but one is probably soon to be issued.

In my opinion , the players should have more an influence on the list of games on this event, because they decide about popularity of this games and we must remember ,that this event is for players , not for the sponsors ,producers and others company.
